Easter at the V&A
The V&A Waterfront is a hive of activity with special meals at top class restaurants as well as the semi-finals of the Suidoorterfees Talent Search which showcases Afrikaans musical talent at its best.
Spier Wine Estate
If you are not into bustling crowds and athletic action you can skip the city beat and head to Spier Hotel for a range of sophisticated activities for adults and children to enjoy on their gorgeous estate. On Good Friday, savour a seafood buffet at the hotel or a braai dinner at Eight, and there will be Easter eggs hunts along with a spit braai or harvest table to choose from on Easter Saturday.
Closer to home, Bugz Playpark in Joostenberg Vlakte is also putting on an Easter Egg Hunt for the youngsters on Easter Monday 17 April, including a visit from the Easter Bunny and a magician.
Where to find the chocolate bunnies
Where do the adults get their Easter chocolate fix though? From Lindt of course. These chocolate maestros are opening a new store in the Silo District of the Waterfront, where Easter bunny moulding classes for all ages are on offer, as well as a host of opening specials from the 12th onwards.
Whatever your idea of a luxury Cape Town Easter break entails, the Mother City is sure to deliver this 2017.
